Garage door off track, snapped cables and stuck doors
A door that's off its track or hanging crooked can come down without warning. If you're in Freehold, Howell, Manalapan, Marlboro, Middletown, Holmdel or Hazlet, call and we'll connect you with a local garage door company that can get it back on track and working right.
Door stuck open or hanging crooked? Say so when you call.
Call (732) 399-3787If your door is stuck or crooked
- Stop using the opener. Running it again can bend the track and the door panels.
- Keep people, pets and cars out from under the door.
- Don't try to force the rollers back into the track or pull on the cables.
- If the door is stuck open, leave it where it is rather than trying to lower it by hand.
- Call us and tell us how the door is sitting.
Common causes
- A car or mower bumping the door or the track
- A snapped or frayed lift cable
- A broken spring that throws the door off balance
- Worn rollers or loose track brackets
- Something in the way when the door came down
